Who we are

These terms apply when you ask Lee's Waste Disposal Ltd, trading as Lee's Waste Clearance, to provide a quote or carry out clearance work. We are a small, family run waste clearance business based in Bristol. Lee's Waste Disposal Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 17066680, with its registered office at 51 Saltmarsh Drive, Lawrence Weston, Bristol, England, BS11 0NJ. Quotes and pricing

Every clearance job is quoted individually. We offer free, no obligation quotes based on the information and photos you share with us. No price is binding until we have confirmed it with you in writing (by email, text or WhatsApp), or agreed it on site before work begins.

If the job on site turns out to be significantly different from what we were quoted for (for example, a lot more waste, restricted access, or extra items added on the day), we will discuss any revised price with you before carrying on. You are free to decline at that point with no charge.

Our services

We provide house clearance, garden clearance, garage and shed clearance, garage and shed dismantling, property and let clearances, and commercial and office waste clearance across Bristol and the surrounding areas. Anything outside these services we will tell you about up front.

Your responsibilities as the customer

• Provide safe and reasonable access to the property and the items being cleared.
• Clearly identify (by labelling, separating or telling us) any items you want to keep. We assume everything in the agreed clearance area is to be taken.
• Make sure you have the right to dispose of the items (for example, you own them, or you are the executor, landlord or tenant with permission to do so).
• Tell us in advance about any hazardous waste such as asbestos, paint, chemicals, gas bottles, clinical waste or large fridges and freezers. We do not take hazardous waste unless it has been agreed beforehand.

Waste carrier licence and legal disposal

We are a fully registered Waste Carrier with the Environment Agency (Licence CBDU626663). All waste we collect is taken to licensed transfer stations and recycling facilities, with as much as possible reused, recycled or recovered. We are happy to provide a waste transfer note on request.

Cancellation and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or move your booking, please let us know as soon as you can. We do not charge a cancellation fee for reasonable notice. For same day cancellations after we have already travelled to site, we may ask for a small call out contribution to cover our time and fuel.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work, unless we have agreed something different in writing. We accept bank transfer and cash. Receipts are available on request.

Liability

We carry public liability insurance and take real care on every job. Our liability to you is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
